Getting over the fear of getting bulky! Learning to love weights!
Maybe you are too one of those people who are afraid to lift heavier weights just because you think you might get that bulky look. I was afraid of the same thing but not anymore.
Weight lifting is a game changer. I was lifting before just 2 lbs and 5 lbs weights and waiting for miracles.
I figured this will help me get that toned body but it’s not enough. If you want to change your body , get a toned and defined body than you have to get rid of that fear.
I mentioned before that my cousin is a fitness trainer. She told me plain : ” Emi , you won’t do or change anything if you won’t start lifting heavier weights!” .
Even when I got my gym membership and I had my assessment I felt the need to mention that I want to get a nicer body, to lose weight but not get bulky.
I bet all trainers are so sick of hearing this!
I got over it and I learned that weights are actually my friend. Combined with cardio and with a healthy calorie intake , it works magic on your body.
You just need to balance all of this out.

Anyway, lifting weights builds more muscle and a stronger you, not to mention that helps you burn more calories through out the day.
I mentioned that I am just at the beginning ( I forgot to take a picture before I started this training program ) , but I notice changes, I notice less inches overall , a more defined , toned and stronger body. It increases my confidence a lot and makes me feel like a bad ass.
No bulkiness whatsoever !
If you were afraid just go for it and see what happens!
